"You might have noticed that everyone loves kittens... and puppies... and bunnies. You know, cute fluffy things. But nobody loves a slightly hairy, I suppose a bit googly eyed monster." - Love Monster by Rachel Bright
This endearing story is about a "funny looking" monster who lives in Cutesville. Although his search for love comes up short, when he least expects it, love finds him. If you're planning to celebrate Valentine's Day in your classroom this year, I propose a day of MONSTROUS Fun! If you don't already own the book, grab it on Amazon HERE and check out the featured activities below for a LOVE MONSTER DAY!

Valentines day is not the most amazing day in the entire world, I will tell you that much. People feel like it is, but believe me, it isn't. Most people are too hopeful during Valentines day, and it does not bode well for me. If you ask me, it is a lot better to just spend Valentines day at home. Maybe I am just bitter because I have no partner, but that is a discussion for another day, sir.
